Leveraging Networks Towards a Stronger Global Approach to Research and Innovation Science

Friday, October 27, 2023 10:00 am - 11:00 am

A collaboration between GW’s Institute for International Science and Technology Policy and EURAXESS North America, this event is the third of three seminars on science diplomacy supported by the GW University Seminar Series. The event will focus on Teaming Up: Leveraging Networks towards a Stronger Global Approach to Research and Innovation. The event explores the successes and experiences of the European researcher diaspora networks in the United States and Canada and the increasing importance of scientific diasporas. The free event is open to all faculty and researchers in North America with an interest in collaborating with Europe. Representatives from scientific diaspora networks, European embassies, research institutions, students and more are also expected to attend and participate. This is a great networking opportunity to connect with various organizations and individuals across the transatlantic research spectrum, with a dedicated session following a keynote speech from the EU Science Counselor to the U.S. and a dynamic panel.
